The Host Team did well this event. The team came in second out of six teams participating. Alysia placed in three out of five events (one in second and two at fourth place). She is on the move and will perform in Birmingham at the gymnastic State Competition meet at the Birmingham Jefferson Civic Center, December 6th.

Well If you want to see this gym star in action..The Armory Gymnastic Team will be performing in Montgomery at the Armory on Sunday at 2:00. Come and see the gym star in action. See you there. This is her last meet before the 2009 State Meet.

Anthony made the first cut for the basketball team and we got final word last Tuesday that is officially part of the McIntyre Mustang Basketball Team. Anthony's first game is December 5, 2009 time: TBA. Once we receive his schedule we will get permisson to post it on the web.
We would like to thank everyone who has supported Anthony in the past and we look forward to a very successful season.

Well she is on a role!!!!! Alysia placed in all five of her events this weekend. She placed in 6th place 4 times, and 4th place one time out of the top ten competiting. In November, the Armory gymnists will host the "Blue Gray gymnasticis competition". This event will be November 20th-22nd. We will let you know her competitng day. This is the home invite before her final competition at the state meet in December for this season.

Well Alysia Thomas has aged on October 28th. She is now in another set of numbers called the teens.......so she think!!!!! Well word of advice to teens... "You are a teen, so you still have rules....to be followed"" It is going to be a little different, but as Hanna Montana says" It's the climb"

well it was truly a competition. Alysia had to compete with 12 gymnists. She ranked 2nd in floor and 4th in vault. She had a great meet, but the scores ran close with multiple ties, leaving limited opportunity for placement. She did place in two of her events with a score of 9. She is still on top of her events.

This weekend in her Clanton meet. She placed in four out of five events!!!
She placed---out of seven positionS
vault - a 9.65 score - 1st place
floor - a 8.17- fourth place
beam - a 7.50- fifth place
bars - a 7.15 -no placement
HER ALL AROUND SCORE OUT OF TWELEVE GYMNASTICS PUT HER IN 4TH PLACE
AND HER MOTHER DIDNOT GET LOST THIS TIME!!!
